Centurion Analytics, LLC Achieves Certified Veteran Enterprise Status from the Department of Veteran

Fredericksburg, Virginia – After several months of hard work and patience, Centurion Analytics LLC achieved the coveted status as a Certified Veteran Enterprise from the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA).

The VA, Center for Verification and Evaluation has verified Centurion Analytics LLC as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Centurion Analytics LLC is now eligible to participate in Veterans First Contracting Program opportunities with VA.

The Vets First Contracting Program within the VA was created under Public Law, P.L. 109-461.  This contracting program was created for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses and expanded the Service-Disabled Veteran contracting program for VA procurements.

Approved firms are eligible to participate in Veteran-Owned Service-Disabled (VOSB) and SDVOSB set-asides issued by VA.  Firms are eligible to subcontract with VA’s large prime contractors in acquisitions.  VA is one of the largest procurement organizations in the Federal Government.  Annually, this Department spends over $3 Billion with eligible Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.  That’s a lot of opportunity.

This program is not like the 8(a) program. The purpose is to ensure that legitimately owned and controlled VOSBs and SDVOSBs are able to compete for VA VOSB and SDVOSB set-aside and are credited by VA's large prime contractors for subcontract plan achievements.

Latoya T. Williams, the CEO of Centurion Analytics LLC stated the following about her firm’s recent certification, “We are excited for our firm to have achieved certification as a SDVOSB, the process has taken several months and required our company to submit volumes of our corporate records, we are excited to have successfully completed the rigorous verification process and we are looking forward to marketing our business support services to the VA and partnering with firms who offer complimentary services as our own to help the VA achieve its mission of taking care of our nation’s veterans.”
